The parade is over and Highway 395 is open, but there's still plenty to do in Gardnerville today and Sunday.

The carnival will continue on both days with live music and games for the children.

Live music will play through the day with Macho Johnny kicking of the tunes and then Off 47th St. taking over at 3 p.m.

'70s tribute band Superfreak will perform starting at 7 p.m. There is also a craft fair.

The duck races kick off Sunday at 1 p.m. Ducks may be purchased through the day today. Proceeds benefit the Carson Valley Community Food Closet.

The winners of the Douglas County Builders Industry Association playhouses will be announced on Sunday.
