The R-C Morning Report

We'll be following up on the motorcycle crash that occurred in Topaz Ranch Estates on Wednesday evening. The head-on accident happened at 5:27 p.m. at Highway 208 and Topaz Ranch Drive and sounded pretty bad for the motorcyclist. Care Flight scooped the victim up.

Indian Hills went back to looking for an interim general manager on Wednesday after deciding to release its co-interim general managers from their duties after one of them, Nancy Frederickson, was out for health reasons and no longer able to perform her function as bookkeeper, much less co-manager. The board will meet next Wednesday to decide on hiring an interim manager. Meanwhile, county auditors are due to visit the district on Monday.

The smoke is supposed to be back today as the winds shift back to the west. It is not nearly as bad this morning as it has been. The high temperature today is supposed to hit 94 under "sunny" skies. The forecast calls for the chance of thunderstorms on Saturday.
