While Republican causes sites were filled to the brim earlier this morning, with participants lining up around their respective precinct buildings, early Democrat turnout appears on the light side.
With 18 minutes until the doors officially open at Carson Valley Middle School, the crowd has been described as sparse.
About 400 to 500 people attended the Republican meetings at St. Gall, and the Ranchos turnout was also high. Early reports say that most participants stayed just to vote for their candidate and weren't so much interested in discussing platforms.
