Area artist Janice Powell Shedd will be teaching beginning through advanced painting classes in day and evening sessions at the Douglas campus of Western Nevada College. The evening session meets 7-9:45 p.m. Tuesdays and daytime classes meet 2:30-5:30 p.m. Thursdays.
Shedd has taught painting at WNC at the Douglas and Fallon campuses and at Yosemite National Park.
Registration continues until Jan. 18, instruction begins Jan. 22. The WNC spring schedule is available at www.wnc.edu. Information, 782-2413.
