District Judge Dave Gamble is expected to be the first person to sign up for the 2008 election. Judges get their own filing period over the next two weeks. Remember, to be a judge you have to be a lawyer, so no pranking his honor by filing if you're not. Judge Michael Gibbons is expected to sign up sometime today.
After Judge Gamble files, he will be presiding over the Bodden murder trial. Dateline will be filming the trial for a segment they're doing on the case, in which a woman is accused of killing her aircraft mechanic husband in 2006.
It's clear outside today, but there's a slight chance of snow showers during the day, That chance increases early Tuesday morning and at some point this week the snow is supposed to turn back to rain as a new storm rolls into Western Nevada on Tuesday.
