Time to dig out from snow storm: Video

Another, weaker, pulse in the storm is expected to arrive in Western Nevada at about 4 p.m. leaving another half inch of snow in the Valley.

The National Weather Service is predicting new snow over night and then a slight chance for more flurries on Monday.

Then early Tuesday morning it will be time to start watching for flooding when the rains come. The National Weather Service is predicting a 60 percent chance of rain before daybreak on Tuesday and running through Thursday.

Chains or snow tires are being required on Highway 395 through Douglas County and on to Reno. The highway is closed between Bridgeport and Walker.

Chains are mandatory on Highway 88 all the way from Minden to 2 miles east of Kirkwood, where it's closed.
