Nevada Republicans will gather for their county conventions during the next three weekends.
Conventions are being held today in Lander, Eureka, Lyon and White Pine counties. The Douglas, Elko, Nye and Clark county conventions will be held March 8 and the Carson City, Storey, Washoe, Humboldt, Pershing, Mineral and Lincoln County conventions are scheduled for March 15.
No listings were available for Churchill or Esmeralda counties.
At those conventions, the GOP will begin the process of developing its 2008 platform and select delegates to the state convention, which is set for April 26 in Reno.
The Lyon County convention will be held in the Weed Heights Community Center.
The Carson City convention will begin at 8 a.m. March 15 at Capital Christian Center on Snyder Avenue. The Douglas County convention March 8 will be held at the fairgrounds.
The Storey County Convention will be held at 1 p.m. March 15 at the Rainbow Bend Clubhouse.
