The Carson Valley Trails Association is developing a 10-year strategic plan to ensure that the organization's future projects and services meet the hiking, mountain biking and equestrian needs of the Carson Valley community.
As part of the public outreach process, stakeholder interviews, surveys, community organization questionnaires and public community workshops have been scheduled.
The first of three public workshops will be held 6-9 p.m. Feb. 28 in the Gardnerville Elementary School library, 111 Toler Ave.
