Local Minden lawyer Justin Clouser discusses the "Ethics of Client Selection" at this month's Douglas Bar Association Noon CLE Luncheon, Thursday in the downstairs meeting room at the Carson Valley Museum and Cultural Center, 1477 Highway 395, Gardnerville. Lunch, tax, tip, and 1 hour of approved CLE credit is $17. Lunch starts at 11: 30 am. The general public is invited.

Clouser's talk highlights issues lawyers face when selecting clients. He believes it is essential to assess the client's expectations, case goals, and previous legal system experience. He adds, "A plan for selecting clients should also include a section on when and how to say "no." Clouser is in solo practice and regularly teaches training programs for lawyers. He graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School, Knoxville and is admitted in Florida, Tennessee, Nevada and California.
