Villa Gigli offers winter wine tastings

Starting Saturday, Ruggero Gigli, co-owner of Villa Gigli Trattoria and Galleria in Markleeville, will be pouring Pedroncelli wines from 2 to 5 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Participants will be able to taste and compare different varietals of red and white wines, but they also can sample some of Gigli's homemade antipasti.

The fee for sampling wine is $5 per glass and includes three tastes of antipasti.

Villa Gigli is located at 145 Hot Springs Road (on the way to Grover Hot Springs) in Markleeville.
