Thankful donations received at food closet

The month of November brought many families and individuals to the Carson Valley Community Food Closet. Donations from the local community ensured that families in need received supplemental food for their families. With the sharp increase in qualified recipients, these donations were deeply appreciated.

Donations may still be made at barrel drops with groceries added to Carson Valley Community Food Closet shelves for the holiday and for the New Year. Consider making a donation at one of the barrels or to the food closet at 1255 Waterloo Lane, Gardnerville. Information, 782-3711.
