Man found hanging by highway identified

Authorities have identified the man found hanging from a cottonwood tree along Highway 395 in Holbrook Junction.

The man was identified as Terry Thomas Parisi, 55, who was staying with a friend in Holbrook Junction.

The circumstances of Parisi's death are still under investigation, but authorities believe the evidence points to suicide.

Several motorists saw him as they drove along the busy highway. It was a passer-by who reported the death.

In Nevada, unattended deaths are investigated as homicides.
