Longtime Carson City resident Lorraine Ocenas, 85, died Dec. 2, 2008.
Born July 6, 1923, in Fort Washakie, Wyo., to Fred and Blanche Stagner, she married William Ocenas in Riverton, Wyo.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Santa Clara, Calif.
A homemaker and mother of three, she enjoyed bowling, crocheting and being with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband; son Gary and daughter Lorrae Bravo.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Marjorie and John Johnston of Gardnerville; daughter-in-law Karen Ocenas of North Carolina; granddaughters Stacy, Corrine, Kim, Colleen and Raelene; grandsons John, Curt and Gabriel; and eight great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
