A memorial service is 2 p.m. Wednesday for longtime Gardnerville resident Lynda L. Cavnar, 59, who died Nov. 28, 2008. The service is at Cornerstone Church, 1415 Industrial Way, Suite J, Gardnerville.
Born March 14, 1949, in French Camp, Calif., to Bonnie Jean Aguiar and William Jackson, she moved to San Jose, Calif., where she grew up.
Mrs. Cavnar moved to Gardnerville in 1976.
She is preceded in death by her parents Bonnie and Daniel Aguiar, father William Jackson, sister Carol Miller and brother Christopher Jackson.
She is survived by husband Mick Cavnar, daughters Gina Doyle and Tammy McComb; son Kenny Doyle II; grandchildren Cory, Amanda, Sarah, Zackery, Cheech and Hunter; brother Ken Jackson; and sister Debbie Zawleski.
Family members said she will be missed and that they've been blessed to be touched by her loving heart.
