Gardnerville nursery helps with DAWG event Sept. 13-28

PlantIt Nursery of Gardnerville will donate 20 percent of all sales Sept. 13-28 to help kick off the Douglas Animal Welfare Group's It's A DAWG's Day animal awareness event at the Douglas County Fairgrounds on Sept. 13, according to nursery owners Kris and Heather Kahabka. The event is DAWG's primary fundraiser.

PlantIt Nursery is located at 1346 Centerville Lane in Gardnerville.

DAWG is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to help the Douglas County Animal Shelter by caring for the pets there and sponsoring adoption events. Information about DAWG at 267-7325 or www.dawgrescue.com
