Low-cost spay and neuter is now available to low-income Douglas County residents through the Maddie's Spay-Neuter Project in Nevada.
Residents with a Medicaid or Nevada Check Up card pay $20 per dog and $10 per cat for a spay or neuter.
Participating veterinarians are Animal Medical Services, Carson Valley Veterinary Hospital, and Quail Ridge Animal Hospital.
