Smoke in the Valley appears lighter today and is expected to continue to clear through the day. While much of the smoke is from the Moonlight fire burning in Plumas County.
Health officials suggest reducing outdoors activities when you can smell smoke.
Meanwhile the Moonlight fire has grown to 18,500 acres and is only 5 percent contained.
