Kudos for 4-H Fall Festival and pumpkin patch

Editor:

Douglas County 4-H would like to thank the following people for their contributions of donations and services at the 12th annual Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch on Oct. 6. The event was a smashing success and we hosted approximately 2,000 festival goers. Families played carnival games, bought and decorated pumpkins, guessed the weight on giant pumpkins, watched gymnastic and martial arts demonstrations, won prizes in the costume contest and bid on items in the silent auction.

This event is co-sponsored by the Douglas County Parks & Recreation Department. 4-H is a youth development program of the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension.
