Douglas High School craft fair Saturday

The 26th annual Douglas High Craft Fair will be 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday inside Douglas High School.

"Come out and support us. If you support the crafters, you support the students," said Douglas screen printing teacher Rita Borselli.

Borselli has been working in conjunction with Skills USA for five years coordinating the event.

She said the $2 entrance fee to the fair and the booth fees of the crafters will go to students in the organization and will help offset fees for the competitions students enter each year to showcase their talents.

She said instead of paying, people can also attend the fair by donating two cans of food for the school's food drive.

More than 100 crafters from around the region will be selling their goods. Also, the Douglas High School Key Club will be occupying a booth to sell "beads for life" with proceeds going to relief efforts in Africa.

Douglas High School is located at 1670 Highway 88 in Minden. For more information, call Borselli at 782-5136, ext. 1532.
