Services for Arnold Settelmeyer are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Gardnerville.
A reception at the CVIC Hall will follow the service.
A Valley native, Settelmeyer was named outstanding rancher by the Cattleman's Association in 2005.
Settelmeyer was the president of the Coalition for Smart Growth, formed to represent businesses and ranchers in the debate over growth controls.
