Linda Louise

Heiser-Ewalt

1944-2007

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date for Linda Louise Heiser-Ewalt, 62, who died at her Gardnerville home, June 22, 2007.

A resident of Gardnerville for 30 years, she was born Nov. 23, 1944, in Dickonson, N.D., to Conrad and Cathrine Heiser. She lived in Belfield, N.D., before moving to Gardnerville. She worked in the casino industry as a pit boss, floor supervisor and a 21 dealer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Fred Heiser and her brother William Billy Heiser. She is survived by her daughter Sherri Ewalt-Jones; her brothers Don and Larry Heiser; her grandchildren Michael R. Wentz, Kyle T. Wentz, Brian N.A. Kerr, Sarah F. Jones; one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are in the care of Walton's Douglas County Mortuary. Cremation took place at Walton's Sierra Crematory on June 28. The family request that in lieu of flowers, any memorial donations be sent to St. Mary's Hospice of Northern Nevada in Linda Louise Heiser-Ewalt's name.

Joseph Kepa

Nakamura

1966-2007

A private service will be held for Joseph Kepa Nakamura, 40, who died June 28, 2007 at Stateline.

Mr. Nakamura, a resident of Stateline for 15 years, was born Sept. 20, 1966, in Los Angeles to Henry Nakamura and Nedra David. He was a high school graduate and lived in Burbank, Calif., before moving to Stateline. He was a self employed carpenter and loved outdoor life and Lake Tahoe. He also loved working on his trucks. He married Jill Nakamura, April 30, 2002, in Nevada.

He is survived by his wife Jill Nakamura of Stateline; daughters Kaili and Malia of Stateline; his mother Nedra David of Stateline and his father Henry Nakamura of Burbank, Calif.; sister Kiki Tavo Villanueva of Tuscon, Ariz.; brother and sister-in-law Jeff and Michelle Nakamura of Agora Hills, Calif.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Sylvia Kathleen Perri

1950-2007

No services are planned for Sylvia Kathleen Perri, 56, who died June 18, 2007.

Mrs. Perri was born Dec. 31, 1950 in Detroit, Mich., to Joseph and Jean Seske. She married Richard Perri, June 30, 1978, in Grosse Pointe, Mich. She lived in Dearborn, Mich., before moving to Minden 10 years ago. She was a graduate of Michigan State University and had a career as an elementary school teacher. She was a member of St. Gall Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Seske. She is survived by her husband Richard Perri of Minden; her daughter Marisa Perri of Minden; her mother Jean Seske; her sister Olivia Seske of Grosse Pointe, Mich.; brother David Seske of St. Clair Shores, Mich. and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles living in Michigan.

Arrangements are in the care of FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville. Cremation took place at FitzHenry's Crematory in Carson City.
