Traffic has been shut down both directions on Waterloo Lane west of highway 88 in Gardnerville after a white Jeep Cherokee reportedly ran into a fence post around 3 p.m. Wednesday.
The driver of the vehicle was reported to be passing on a double-yellow line down Kingsbury grade just prior to the single-vehicle accident, according to the police scanner.
Paramedics have responded to the scene, although it is not immediately known if any injuries were suffered.
