The Spotts family would like to take this opportunity to thank the following individuals and businesses for their assistance during the recent fundraiser for their son T.J.

Thanks to Shylocks Salon for hosting the "Cut-A-Thon" fundraiser on June 2, and to the following hairstylists for donating their time: Kellie, Donna, Stacy, Kay and her daughter Tessa.

We also had Bill from Main Street Barber and Lolly from Legends Salon donate time to cut hair. Three people donated their hair to Locks of Love, so this was an added bonus.

Businesses-Individuals who donated to the raffle were: Lorraine, A Wildflower, Sierra Gifts, Paradise Tan, Carson Valley Inn, Rosie's Mexican Restaurant, Full Belly Deli, Animal Ark, Sweetie Pies, Outback Steakhouse, Ironwood Theater, Staples, Especially for You, Chili's, Dominoe's Pizza, Trader Joe's, Wasabi's, Cooks Pantry, Round Table Pizza, Smith family, All Pro Spas and the Skin Cancer and Dermatology Institute.

Thanks to the following businesses for allowing fundraising jars on their counters: Sierra Physical Therapy, Shylocks Salon, Hair Cottage, Joyce's Antiques, Carson Valley Veterinary, Drs. Hart and Pardee, Sierra Gifts and Hollywood Hair.

And to other individuals who assisted in ticket sales-baked goods: Carol, Dawn, Jackie, Lorraine, Sandi, Heidi, Debbie, Karen, Tracy, Michelle and Carson Valley United Methodist Church.

In all we raised about $1,200 to help with T.J.'s medical expenses. Thank you to the community for your support during T.J.'s recovery time.
