Minden advertising agency owner Suzy Stockdale is recovering rapidly at St. Mary's Hospital in Reno, according to her staff at Stockdale Creative Marketing and Advertising.
Stockdale, who was injured in a bicycle mishap on July 14, is out of intensive care and may be released in the next few days, a spokeswoman for the firm said.
They asked that wellwishers send flowers and cards to the office, located at 1650 Lucerne St., Suite 202, because they're not sure when she'll be leaving the hospital.
"We appreciate everyone's kind thoughts and concern," said Stockdale designer Irene Gurley.
Stockdale was moved from Renown Medical Center to St. Mary's on Tuesday night.
Stockdale was injured while bicycling home from the Death Ride.
She was found by a member of the Alta Alpina Bicycling Club and rushed to the hospital.
The California Highway Patrol is seeking any information they can find on the accident.
CHP officer Desi Timmerman asked that anyone with information about the accident or the whereabouts of Stockdale's bicycle to contact her at (530) 577-1001.
"We want to take a look at it and try to get this woman any information we can about what happened to her," Timmerman said.
