A father, mother, daughter and teenage son were identified as the four people killed in an accident at Highway 395 and Leviathan Mine Road on Saturday.
Four members of the Calevro family from Torrance, Calif., were identified as Jerome, 58, Maria, 52, Bernadette, 23 and Jerome Daniel, 15, by the Douglas County Coroner.
The family was killed after their 1998 Dodge pickup truck collided head-on with a green Suzuki driven by Gardnerville resident Dawn Katherine Miley, 42.
The accident occurred at about 2:50 p.m. and closed the northbound lane of Highway 395 for more than four hours.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, Miley was southbound on Highway 395 when she left the edge of the roadway and then corrected acroos the lane and into the northbound lanes.
