Grading and reshaping of the dirt roads within the Town of Genoa will begin Monday.
The work will be performed by Canyon Creek Construction. The project will be followed with an application of a magnesium chloride sealant to help the roads retain their moisture.
A slurry seal of the roads within Genoa's Sierra Shadows subdivision should also begin mid summer and is a part of Douglas County's 2007 road seal project.
The county's road project encompasses a number of chip seal and slurry seal projects for the County, several general improvement districts, and the Towns of Genoa and Gardnerville.
