A murder is announced at the Douglas County Public Library in Minden's winter reading program for adults. It starts Jan. 20 and continues through March 2. Sign up for the program at the Minden or Lake Tahoe branch of the Douglas County Public Library starting Jan. 16.
n Jan. 20 at 4 p.m. a program with Channel 2 meteorologist Mike Alger will take place in the meeting room of the Minden library. Alger will give an author talk and sign books starting at 4:30 p.m. Appetizers and beverages will be served. RSVP for this program by Jan. 17.
The Minden library is located at 1625 Library Lane; the Lake Tahoe branch is located at Zephyr Cove Park. For more information call the library at 782-9841.
