Convicted arsonist David Scott Killen, 22, will appear in East Fork Justice Court on Wednesday morning to face charges he was responsible for breaking windows in cars and businesses from Stateline to Carson City to Carson Valley. Killen has been out of prison for five months after being sentenced for starting a rash of fires.
A report of a two-car accident on Spooner Summit just above the construction on Highway 50 turned out to be unfounded.
Douglas County Sheriff's deputies on scene said the backed up traffic was the result of construction and they could find no accident.
The Nevada Highway Patrol's Web site listed an unknown injury accident at the location at 4:38 p.m.
