The 2008 spring sports season at Douglas High School is just around the corner.
Students interested in participating in a spring sport must obtain clearance through the athletic department at Douglas High School prior to any participation, including tryouts.
New and returning athletes can obtain a packet from either of the middle schools or at the Tiger Cage at Douglas High School.
A clearance night for all spring sports is set for Jan. 30 from 5 to 6 p.m.
The mandatory extracurricular drug policy presentation is at 6 p.m.
The athlete, along with at least one of their parents or legal guardians, must attend the presentation. The athlete only needs to attend the presentation once during their high school career.
