The Daughters of Norway Queen Maud Lodge No. 42 will meet at 6 p.m. Dec. 20 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at the corner of Saliman and Highway 50 East in Carson City.
A smorgasbord dinner will be followed by singing and dancing around the Christmas tree. Craft activities for children, gift exchange for adults.
Founded in 2001, the group presents programs to maintain knowledge of the history, culture and language of Norway and to build a support system and friendship within the group.
Women of Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Icelandic heritage or who are married or have been married to a Norwegian are invited to join. Information, 782-5259.
