Jackson to speak at Sierra Nevada GOP Women meeting

Douglas County District Attorney Mark Jackson will be the guest speaker at the Sierra Nevada Republican Women's May 9 monthly luncheon/ meeting at Two Guys From Italy.

Jackson will address the growing methamphetamine problem facing Douglas County. Jackson is a member of the Nevada District Attorney's Association, Douglas County Bar Association, Nevada State Bar Association and serves on the Governor's Working Group on Methamphetamine Use in Nevada.

He also has numerous teaching and lecturing credentials relating to the challenges of methamphetamine use.

Social begins 11:30 a.m. and luncheon/meeting noon May 9 at Two Guys from Italy in Gardnerville. Cost with reservation $10, $15 at the door. Information and reservations, Diane Gordon by May 8, 265-2841.
