Man found dead in north Valley

Douglas County authorities are looking into the discovery of the body of a man in the 1600 block of Chow Buck in the Johnson Lane area at about 5 p.m. Wednesday. Rescue personnel responded to a 911 call to find the 60-70-year-old man, who appeared to have been walking or jogging along the road, dead. Sgt. Tom Mezzetta said the death appears to be natural and that there is no apparent evidence to suggest foul play. The man's identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
