Utility Bill Consulting School in Miami Florida, Rapport Institute for Leadership/Power of Communication along with other various college credits throughout the past years.

Record of service: Active duty in U.S. Navy from 1964 to Sep. 1968. Approx. 18 months in Viet Nam, Tonkin Bay/Mekong Delta,18 months in Subic Bay Philippines, a year at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Platform: "Efficient government is good government." In past years GRGID has been more efficient than most others in Northern Nevada, our tax rate has remained the same for past 20 some years. I feel positive about present and future open spaces for parks, tennis courts, a trail systems to help our community, Girls and Boys Club - without raising taxes. Via grants and low interest loans, money from our general fund we've met the challenges without increasing our permanent employee base, at least for the time being. The District has little or no control over growth which is at

the County level unless we can't supply water and/or sewer service. In the near future we'll have an additional acres to content with, that will impact our tax rate, employee base - along with traffic. To keep a tight check on future growth, incorporation may be an option since we'll require more police/fire protection, more open space for

maintenance, wells/holding tanks and more than we can imagine. We're also looking into other types of energy sources to save on utility bills. Our District is basically very young, established in early 1960's so we still have a long way to go as we adjust to our ever changing environment along with climate change, I'd like to continue to help the next four years to help achieve our immediate goals as I have in the past years.
