Platform:

Since moving here in 1990 from Ventura County, California, I have enjoyed using the local pool for numerous reasons. There is always a lap lane open for swimming, no matter what time of day I am able to swim. When I began kayaking and wanted to learn safety techniques in protected water, the pool afforded me the opportunity to bring my boat in to practice. I participated in the morning exercise sessions in the exercise room, and currently I treat my physical therapy clients in the warm water therapy pool.

I have never been to a pool that offered such diverse programming! The staff has always been friendly, helpful and very willing to work with the community to serve its needs. I would like to give back by volunteering my time as a board member to continue with this tradition.
