Man accused of pointing shotgun at house

A 28-year-old Gardnerville Ranchos man was charged with brandishing a weapon and driving under the influence after witnesses said he parked in front of a Victoria Drive residence with a shotgun pointed at the residence. Deputies were called to the scene on Sept. 15 after a witness reported seeing Jesse Hulme parked in front of a residence in the 1300 block of Victoria with the barrel of a shotgun pointed out a window of his vehicle.

He reportedly also was honking the horn.

Deputies found the unoccupied vehicle parked in front of a residence on Long Valley, and Hulme inside sitting on a couch.

A black shotgun was propped up on a floorboard on the passenger side and two more shotguns in the rear camper shell. Deputies found no ammunition.

When deputies asked if he'd consumed any alcohol, Hulme answered, "a ton."

His blood-alcohol content was .251, more than three times the legal limit of .08 for driving in Nevada.
