R-C Morning report

County commissioners voted 3-2 against an ordinance that would require casinos coming into Douglas County to build 100 hotel rooms.

Commissioners Jim Baushke, Doug Johnson and Tim Smith voted against the ordinance. Dave Brady and Kelly Kite were in favor.

Beloved Minden attorney George Keele's name is indeed mispelled on page 2 of today's edition of The Record-Courier, and we're not too sure about John St. Peters' name either.

High temperatures are supposed to cool off starting today. The National Weather Service is predicting highs in the 80s with afternoon winds gusting up to 20 mph.
