Minden Medical center part of land deal

The Minden Medical Center will be sold to a private partnership, which plans to construct a 110-unit senior living on property adjoining the center.

Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare announced Wednesday they plan to enter an agreement with Reno financial planning firm Schultz Financial Group and its affiliate Mountain View Capital.

The partnership plans on purchasing the 8.62 acres of land the center sits on. The sale is expected to clear on Oct. 31.

The partnership plans to present the project at the Minden Town Board meeting in December.

The hospital plans to lease back the medical facility from the partnership and will continue its present services.
