The Carson Valley Community Theatre is kicking off its new season with a get-together, "Join Us for Cocktails & Conversation," 4-6 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Aspen Park clubhouse, 1380 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville.
The informal gathering is for friends, supporters, members and guests of the community theater group. Objectives include making plans for upcoming performances, a discussion on what people would like to see and to garner support for a more active membership.
On the board for CVCT this year are president Linda Diego, vice president Margaret Edson, secretary Carolyn Lancaster, treasurer Dave Thomas and directors Shannon Hickey, Jim Dunn and Norris Edson.
