Musical workshop offered at Valley church

National recording artist Kathy Zavada is offering a musical workshop, "Letting Go: A Key To Greater Happiness," 1 p.m. this Sunday in the Unity Church of Today Sanctuary at 1701 Lucerne St., Minden. The workshop teaches to achieve happiness through freedom from negative feelings.

Zavada is also the speaker, soloist and pianist for the 9 and 10:30 a.m. services. A potluck lunch is served between the services and workshop. The workshop is limited to 75 people and the cost is $20.
