Rappin' to Minden takes place at spring festival

The Northern Nevada Chapter invites all International Inliner members, wives and guests to its second annual Rappin' to Minden to take place in conjunction with the Minden Spring Festival June 3-4. Inliners will be the only featured group of vehicles and will be displayed at the Town of Minden Park. Minden Spring Festival fills Esmeralda Avenue with booths of arts, crafts and food vendors, as well as live music to dance to.

Inliners are requested to pre-register for this event in order to accommodate all who want to participate. A shirt will be included in the event package, as well as a poker hand and other goodies.

This year, the event will be honoring Wayne Horning, the father of the 12 Port Head, who passed away earlier this year. If anyone has any Horning equipment, bring it for display at the event.

The event will emphasize spending time kicking tires, comparing engines and vehicles, socializing and having fun. In between there will be adequate time for eating, relaxing and taking naps.

For more information, call Marv Ziemer at 782-7211 or Rick and Fran Petersen at 783-1957 to request a pre-registration form.
