Authors to sign books at Gardnerville book store

Authors Alora Knight and Jane Lehrman will be on hand at The Book Den from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday for a book signing event.

Alora Knight, author of poetry and childrens books, has many poetry books and cards as well as three children's books. She will be doing a children's reading from 1 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.

Jane Lehrman, author of "Around Douglas" coordinates and writes the features for the "Silver and Sage" monthly senior magazine. She also wrote a weekly column for the Nevada Appeal from 1987-1989 called "Around Douglas." She compiled 100 columns for the book "Around Douglas" in 1988.

The Book Den is located at 1328 Highway 395, Suite 305, Gardnerville.
