Bruce W. Beamer


1951-2006




A celebration of life will be from 1 to 5 p.m. June 24 at Iggy and Squiggy's Bar at Holbrook Junction located at the junction of Highway 395 South and Highway 208 for Bruce W. Beamer, 55, who died June 12, 2006 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Reno after a short illness.


Mr. Beamer was born March 19, 1951 in Reno to Lloyd and Joyce Beamer. He attended schools in Reno, Ely and graduated from Douglas County High School in Gardnerville. He made his home in Gardnerville where he enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He had a great time supporting his favorite football team Ð The Raiders-with all his friends in Gardnerville. Bruce loved drawing eagle heads and making them come alive with pastels which many friends loved. Bruce is survived by his son Beau J. Beamer, three grandsons, Christopher, Zen and Tyler of Montana, brother Tom Beamer (wife Patti), Aunt and Uncle Howard and Donna Davis of Reno; nephew Mike Goldwater (wife Leslie) of Carson City. He is preceded in death by his parents. He had a great sense of humor and a love for life. He will be missed very much by his fishing partner, his brother, Tom.
