Renee Sanders felt that Topaz Ranch Estates needed a western apparel store so she opened Western Outpost.
Western Outpost has western apparel for men and women - jeans, shirts, blouses and custom leather jackets.
Work wear to dress clothing is available at Western Outpost. Sanders carries Wrangler's line of work clothes, Riggs Work Wear, and 20X, Wrangler's line of designer jeans and fashion tops for men and women.
An option is to custom order items if not seen in the store.
Sanders moved from Turlock, Calif., this year and opened her store April 15.
"I like the fresh air," she said. "In Topaz Ranch Estates there aren't all the cars and vehicles. It's a beautiful area. I like the snow and the sagebrush.
"Turlock used to be a dairy community but it's grown," said Sanders. "It's a nice area but this is nicer."
