Sharkey's offers free car giveaway, Super Bowl party

Sharkey's Casino in Gardnerville is holding a Super Bowl Sunday party and a chance to win Coolers of Cash.

All customers attending the Super Sunday party will receive entry tickets for random drawings to choose one of the eight coolers located above the stage. Coolers contain cash, dinners for two, or ice water. Additional items to be given away include a Coors Light stereo, hats, T-shirts and duffle bags.

The party starts before kick-off at 2 p.m. Drink specials include a 16-ounce Coors Light for $1, micro brews for $2.5 and well drinks starting at $1.50. Food specials include tacos for $1, nachos or chicken wings for $1.50, and build your own burger for $2.50.

Customers can also bet on their favorite Super Bowl team at the Sports Book. Who will be crowned world Super Bowl XL champions? Come watch every bone-crushing tackle and amazing runs on the giant 60-inch and 40-inch screen TVs.

Customers can take a free ride at Sharkey's Casino. Now through March 17 Sharkey's Casino will feature its biggest promotion ever in the history of Sharkey's - "Free Ride Car Giveaway."

Customers will have a chance to win a brand new 2006 Chevrolet Aveo five-door car from Valley Chevrolet-Pontiac. Entry forms will be distributed to active players in the casino every hour on the hour starting at 1 p.m. through 10 p.m. daily.

Through March 15 Sharkey's will host car parties at 8 p.m. on Wednesdays. Each weekly car party will consist of the following prizes:

n Five winners receive a "key" to the car.

n Ten winners will receive a chance to win an additional vehicle with a free spin on a slot machine.

n Twelve winners will receive promotional items such as T-shirts, hats, gas cards, oil changes and car washes.

The weekly winners of the "key" to the car and 10 additional winners that night for a total of 50 keys will draw for the actual key on March 17 at 8 p.m. The winner must present the "key" at the grand drawing to be included in the drawing for the 2006 Chevrolet Aveo 5 door car.
