Katharine Jefferts Schori, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Nevada, soon to be the first female Bishop of the Episcopal Church of the United States, will make her annual visit to Coventry Cross Episcopal Church on Sept. 10.
Schori will attend the Coventry Cross services at 8 and 10 a.m. There will be a small reception between services for her to greet members and guests. Coventry Cross Episcopal Church is located at 1631 Esmeralda Place, Minden.
Schori's investiture into the highest post of the church as the Bishop of the Episcopal Church of the United States will take place on Nov. 4.
