The Asics West Coast Nationals wrestling tournament were held this weekend at Roscoe Maples Pavilion at Stanford University.
Continuing their offseason training, five Douglas High wrestlers as well as one youth wrestler made the trip along with head coach Lamont McCann, coach Dean Barker and Dave Hekhuis.
CJ Wynar, Devin Barker and Nice Barker each earned place medals at the event, which included some of the best high school and youth wrestlers in California.
Douglas wrestlers will continue their offseason training throughout the summer.
