A memorial service for Janice Adeline Peterson, 62, a Bishop, Calif., resident for the past 20 years, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville.
Mrs. Peterson died Sept. 10, 2005, in Reno. She was born Oct. 13, 1942, in Providence, R.I., to Frederick and Adeline Petrosinelli.
She married Mark Peterson on May 19, 1985, in Costa Mesa, Calif.
She lived in California for most of her life.
Mrs. Peterson was a resort manager. She was a member of the Bishop Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Among her survivors are her husband of Bishop; children Laurie Hippert of Costa Mesa, Ronald Jackson of Bishop and Timothy Jackson of Dallas; sisters Doris E. Smith of Minden and Edith Ann Crosby of Menifee, Calif.; brothers Frederick Petrosinelli of Gardnerville, Lawrence Petrosinelli of Providence and Raymond Petrosinelli of Buckley, Wash.; and two grandchildren.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
Memorial contributions may be made to "I Care" in Bishop.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
