The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 38-year-old transient construction worker was arrested at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the Douglas County Jail on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $1,423.

• Paul Elliot Johnson, 24, a disc jockey from Carson City, was arrested at 2:51 a.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $3,264.

• Alberto Lepe, 21, a casino worker from Incline Village, was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at Graves Lane and Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony probation violation. No bail was set.

n The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• An accident at 1:17 p.m. at West Long and North Division streets.

• A white two-door Chevy Cavalier sedan was stolen from the 1400 block of Rolling Hills Drive sometime before 6:08 p.m. Wednesday.

• Accident at East Fifth and Roop streets at 12:34 p.m. Thursday.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Drug possession report on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley at 12:46 a.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest stemming from the report of a drunk driver on Fort Churchill Road in Mark Twain at 2:37 a.m.

• Brush fire on Breakaheart Road in Stagecoach at 9:44 a.m.

• Juvenile problem report in the 1400 block of Virginia Street in Silver Springs at 11:33 p.m.

• Accident in the 900 block of Atrium Circle in Fernley at 1:45 p.m.

• Vehicle theft report in the 800 block of Pony Express Trail in Mark Twain at 1:53 p.m.

• Destruction of property report in the 3500 block of Graham Avenue in Silver Springs at 2 p.m.

• Residential burglary report in the 5700 block of Aspen Street in Silver Springs at 2:16 p.m.

• Accident in the northbound lanes of Highway 95 Alternate in Fernley at 2:44 p.m.

• Fire investigation in the 100 block of Palmer Drive in Dayton Valley at 3:56 p.m.

• A misdemeanor arrest stemming from a domestic dispute call in the 100 block of Sunset Hills in Mason Valley at 11:29 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• A tree was down across State Route 341 at Toll Road at 7:50 a.m.

• A hypodermic needle was found near the construction of a new home on South Tunnel Road at 8:08 a.m.

• A checkbook was found on E Street at 9:36 a.m.

• A telephone line was down at 10:57 a.m. on North B Street.

• A man wished to file an Internet fraud report concerning vehicle parts he purchased online.

• A cordless phone was found on State Route 341 at 2:28 p.m.

• A white motorcycle was stolen from Prospector Road in Dayton sometime Tuesday night.
