The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Jeffrey Smith, 33, an unemployed man from Carson City, was arrested 1:30 p.m. Aug. 21 in the 2700 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $3,800.
• Paul Buelow, 36, an unemployed Carson City man, was arrested 5:40 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of North Carson City on suspicion of felony possession of prescription drugs without a prescription, felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and an alternative sentencing violation. Bail was set at $9,000.
• Jason Wilkes, 38, a tile salesman from Carson City, was arrested 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of felony driving under the influence, misdemeanor driving without a license and misdemeanor open container. Bail was set at $10,400.
• A 28-year-old self-employed man from Carson City was arrested 6:34 p.m. in the 3300 block of South Carson Street for driving under the influence. Bail was set at $1,000.
• Nikki Wilhelm, 39, an unemployed woman from Gardnerville, was arrested in the emergency room of a Carson City hospital about 11:25 p.m. Saturday on a warrant for suspicion of felony passing a forged check. Bail was set at $7,500.
• A 31-year-old man from Carson City who pulled out in front of a sheriff deputy's car on Fifth Street and caused the deputy to break was arrested at 7:16 a.m. Saturday on a warrant for suspicion to appear for a traffic violation. Bail was set at $939.
• Rebecca Craghill, 28, of Carson City, was arrested Friday in the 600 block of East Williams Street on a Reno warrant on suspicion of a felony crime and misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs and causing an accident. Bail was set at $5,000.
• Catarino Vasquez-Esquival, 28, a tile worker from Carson City was arrested 2:15 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of North Carson City Street on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. Bail was set at $3,500.
