The Capitol City Gun Club will hold a youth and ladies hunters clays day from 8 a.m.-noon Sunday, Aug. 28..
Those interested can learn to shoot a shotgun for hunting and prepare for the bird hunting season with professional instructors.

Jaeke fires ace
Jerry Jaeke shot his first hole-in-one on Wednesday at Empire Ranch Golf Course. Jaeke used a 4-iron from the blue tee on the 180-yard eighth hole.
Bob Pearson and John McGee witnessed the shot. "I took an extra iron because John was in close for the green," said Jaeke on how he fired his ace.
